XERATION is a daily series of realistic photographs of objects that cannot exist. Every image fuses ordinary, everyday objects into one single thing, chosen so that they pull in opposite emotional directions.
One new image every day
A new photograph is published everyday, each with a title in the form of a short, open question about the feelings the image evokes.
How the images are made
The images are created with the help of artificial intelligence and curated by hand. Every image file carries metadata that marks it as AI-generated.
Who is behind it
XERATION is a project by Revolweb. Common questions are answered in the FAQ; how the images may be used is described on the License page.
