Can peace harbor silent war?
A gallery sculpture merges a lifelike grey pigeon with the angular matte tail section of a stealth jet fighter.
What you see
A lifelike sculpture mounted on a white plinth combines the organic body of a grey pigeon with the matte, faceted tail assembly of a stealth combat jet. The pigeon stands upright on small pink feet, but where its folded wings and tail feathers should taper, the soft plumage transitions seamlessly into hard, radar-absorbent panels and twin canted vertical stabilizers.
The work joins the traditional universal emblem of peace and urban nature with modern airborne weaponry designed for silent, undetected strikes. By binding biological vulnerability directly to angular military engineering, the hybrid suggests how intentions of peace can mask concealed, high-tech hostility.
